Introducing SYTAR 2013: The Front Line of Yoga Therapy
The
International Association of Yoga Therapists
is proud to announce the fifth Symposium on Yoga Therapy and Research
(SYTAR), The Front LIne of Yoga Therapy,
June 13-16, 2013 in Boston.
SYTAR is IAYT's membership conference.
SYTAR is dedicated entirely to professional education, research, practice, and policy issues
for yoga therapy. Sessions are designed to enhance your skills and abilities as well as expand
your horizons.
Explicit focus on supporting the competencies in IAYT’s new
educational standards for the training
yoga therapists is germane to the practice sessions this year.
Common Interest Community sessions cover areas that have been determined to be
popular and of high value to today’s yoga therapists. Views from distinguished
leaders in the field comprise the plenary and panel discussion sessions.
This is the first time SYTAR will be taking place on the East coast
(see IAYT conferences).
Yet another first this year is the back-to-back placement of SYTAR and
SYR (Symposium on Yoga Research),
IAYT's academic research conference, in the same location. Both take place at the
Boston Marriott Newton;
SYR June 11-13, 2013 followed by SYTAR June 13-16, 2013.
We are confident that synergies resulting from this juxtaposition of people and topics will add
a whole new dimension to the IAYT conference experience.
You are cordially invited to join IAYT on the front line of yoga therapy June 13 – 16, 2013.
Keynote Speakers 2013
SYTAR’s Front Line of Yoga Therapy 2013 keynote speakers bring a wide range
and depth of knowledge, wisdom, and experience to this conference. Each keynote
speaker will also present a practice session.
